KALACC believes that Aboriginal kids in the Kimberley achieve their best possible educationa results when the schools that they attend value Aboriginal culture and offer a curriculum which is integrated around culture. And a critical element of such a curriculum is an effective partnership with the local community.
From time to time, KALACC receives funding from philanthropic sources for the purpose of supporting selected school cultural programs. When we do have access to this kind of support, we use that funding to provide support to schools which can demonstrate to us that they do offer a curriculum integrated around culture.
